I am always happy with the help I receive from St Lawrence surgery even though sometimes it can be difficult to get an appointment. This week however, I am incredibly impressed with the receptionist who obviously realised I needed to be seen and made an appointment within an hour of my phone call. Also the care and attention I have received from Dr Joslin has been remarkable. An almost immediate appointment for blood tests after seeing her and phone calls on the next two days with updates and plans for sorting my current health situation. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Joslin and her patience and understanding and her obvious desire to help.

Every time I ring the surgery, which is rarely as I am aware they are extremely busy and I only go to the doctors If I really have to, I am made to state my issue and the receptionist decides if I need an appointment. They completely write me off everything and talk to me like I'm an idiot, I'm 20 years old, I pay my taxes and work within healthcare and have enough knowledge to know if j need a doctor or not. When I finally got an appointment the doctor be littled me and then answered her phone during our appointment. Good job my illness was not a sensitive issue. Now I still have the same issue and will have to ring them and try get an appointment all over again.

I have seen the same Dr recently 3 times as I've been having investigations. I am so impressed by her manner and determination to help identify what needs to be done. The surgery should know they have an outstanding GP in Dr Pickles.

I called to get an appointment for a post natal issue. It is 3pm and I am told after advising what my situation is that if I need an appointment I should call the next morning at 8 am or come to the surgery. Easier said than done with a 1 week old baby! Especially when I will need to walk up to make the appointment to then go home again and make another trip back. Would be easier to make the appointment now over the phone for today or tomorrow and make just one trip. I don't know what would physically stop them doing this?

I had my first referral appointment today with Mr Cathal Malone. I had never been to St Lawrence Surgery before and am still finding my way around the area so I used my Sat Nav to get me there. Having got totally lost, and now late for my appointment, I phoned to try and get directions. Within minutes, Mr Malone phoned me back and guided me to the Surgery where I was seen immediately, despite now being 20 minutes late. Wonderful service and I cannot praise the professionalism of the Surgery enough. Even though I was late, Mr Malone didn't rush through my consultation, explaining everything in detail and taking time to answer my questions Thank you
